Informational Session for 2018-19 FPDC Program
An informational session for all faculty interested in applying for the Faculty Professional Development Grant Program will be held in McNairy 117 on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:00. The new request for proposals will be available and Dr. Rene Munoz, Director, Sponsored Programs and Research Administration will be present to discuss the program and answer questions.
The Faculty Professional Development Council (FPDC) grant program has been funded for the 2018-19 academic year. Draft guidelines can be found here. The 2018-19 RFP can be found at the link below:
Applications will be due in December 10, 2018 with awards made in March or early April of 2019. Previously, the ceiling for the awards has varied between about $6,000 and $10,000. Universities are usually allowed to submit 10 or more proposals, though the limits have not been set by the council for this year. If you have any questions, please email or call Dr. Rene Munoz at 871-4457. All faculty are eligible to apply.
