Entering PDE 430 Evaluations into Banner

University Supervisors Only

Supervisors will complete their student teachers’ PDE 430 evaluations through Banner Web for faculty. Supervisors will print their paper (pdf) copies through Banner Web for student teacher review and signatures.  Please provide hard-copies to the student teacher AND to the Field Services Office in Room 120, Stayer Hall.

  1. Access Banner Web for Faculty via MU Home Page
  2. User Log In
    • User ID = M#
    • PIN = D.O. B. (Double Digits)
  3. MU Web Information System - Click on Faculty Services
  4. Faculty Services - Click on Professional Education Unit Menu
  5. Professional Education Unit Menu - Click on Assessment Entry
  6. Select Assessment - PEU Term: Select current term from Drop Down Box
  7. Assessment: Select all assigned PDE 430 evaluations from the Drop Down Box (IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE SECTIONS OF STUDENT TEACHERS, YOU WILL HAVE MULTIPLE ASSIGNED EVALS)

    PDE Midterm = the 1st completed evaluation (mid placement for students in 15 weeks or end of first placement for 7 ½ weeks)

    PDE End Term = the 2nd completed evaluation (end of placement for students in 15 weeks or end of 2nd placement for 7 ½ weeks)

  8. Click SUBMIT
    1. PEU Assessment: Under the student list, click on ENTER to begin typing your student’s scores and comments. Be sure to submit often by hitting the student list or next student button at the bottom of the screen. Once all sections of a student’s evaluation are completed, you will see complete on your student list. You may then click on the VIEW button to see & print the pdf copy. There is a 30 minute time limit for data entry, so remember to submit your work often. You may return to any student’s report to edit or revise it until the date that final grades are submitted for the semester.

Supervisors will print their paper (pdf) copies through Banner Web for student teacher review and signatures.  Please supply a copy to your student teacher.  You do not need to submit a hard-copy to the Field Services Office.
