Kaitlyn Lardeo

Weather Intelligence and Risk Management

Kaitlyn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with a minor in Mathematics from SUNY Oswego. She is currently a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Fairbanks, Alaska. Her concentration in the MSISA program is in Weather Intelligence & Risk Management. After graduation, Kaitlyn says, “I plan on using my newfound knowledge to accelerate my career's mission of protecting life & property, as well as educate my peers on the importance of efficient and effective weather communication to partners and the public.".

Janelle Shank

Geospatial Technology

Janelle has a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a concentration in Geospatial Technology and a minor in philosophy from MU. Her concentration in the MSISA program is in Geoinformatics. Janelle is currently an environmental scientist/GIS specialist for an engineering consulting firm called ATCS, PLC. After graduation, she is planning to take the skills and knowledge she is acquiring to grow within her company, and possibly pursue a PhD in Spatial Information Science and engineering.

Anthony Williams

Weather Intelligence and Risk Management

Tony earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Saint Cloud State University in May of 2021, and his concentration in the MSISA program is in Weather Intelligence and Risk Management. Tony currently serves as a Graduate Assistant in the MSISA program and participates in research projects involving science education and outreach. After graduation, he hopes to continue his involvement with academia and pursue a PhD related to Earth Science and education.
