Millersville Accounting Office, part of the Finance Division, manages the University’s accounting services. The Office serves both internal and external constituents and is responsible for monitoring the accounting information system, maintaining chart-of-accounts, ensuring the University’s compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, preparing University annual financial statements, coordinating with various external auditors, handling grants and contracts accounting, assisting other departments in accounting matters and in strengthening internal controls, providing internal and external accounting reports, filing applicable taxes, performing accounts payable functions, and handling university's treasury functions.
