The American Democracy Project (ADP) for Civic Engagement is a national, multi-campus initiative that seeks to foster informed civic engagement in the United States. ADP events occur throughout the fall.
The Public Officials Forums are a series of forums in which elected and appointed officials from local, state, and national government are invited to campus to speak and to answer questions about issues they are involved with in their capacity as public officials.
The Candidates' Forums are a series of non-partisan forums that occur prior to the primary elections in May and the general elections in November. Candidates for local, state, and national office are invited to campus to present their positions on election campaign issues, respond to questions from students and faculty members in attendance, or engage in debate with rival candidates.
The Distinguished Civic Leadership Awards Banquet is a CCERP initiative that recognizes notable civic and community contributions on the part of individuals who and entities that have had a positive impact locally, regionally, nationally, or internationally.
