Center for Public Scholarship and Social Change
The Center for Public Scholarship and Social Change involves Millersville University students with the local community in research projects and community support.
A few of our partners include
- Ambassadors for Hope
- Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership
- Lancaster Safety Coalition
- Compass Mark
One of our community partners, Ambassadors for Hope, accomplished one of it's goals: a Lancaster County family advocate for children who have a parent in prison. Thanks to the work of Bob Cooper, Dr. Mary Glazier, support of the Ambassadors for Hope executive committee, and Millersville University students, this position will be in place in 2015.
