Stained Glass Windows

The stained glass window placed in McComsey Hall is the top part of the window “Truth.” It was originally donated to the Old Main chapel by the class of 1884 and was relocated in 2006 to the hallway outside Myers Auditorium. The window features the alumni badge. On the badge is the seven-pointed astra star with the letters A-D-A-S-T-R-A on each point. “Ad astra” is a Latin phrase, which translates to “toward the stars.” The phrase at the bottom of the window reads, “Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”
