Gary Hirshberg is the current Chairman of Stonyfield Farm, the world’s leading organic yogurt producer. He has been a part of Stonyfield Farm, the world’s leading organic yogurt producer. He has been part of Stonyfield from it’s founding in 1983, as an organic farming school with seven cows to its current $360 million in annual sales. Hirshberg also serves on several corporate and non-profit boards, and he is chairman and a founding partner of Just Label It, We Have the Right to Know, the national campaign to label genetically engineered foods. Hirshberg has authored two books – Stirring It Up: How to Make Money and Save the World and Label it Now – What You Need to Know About Genetically Engineered Foods. He is the recipient of nine honorary doctorates and numerous awards for his work in corporate and environmental leadership.
