Film Club

Film Club Information

The Film Club (MU Ciné Club) at Millersville University is a venue for discussion about cinema. Students select a theme for each semester and explore this aspect in depth through a selection of films presented in Myers Auditorium (McComsey Building).

Students also make trips to other venues to see films. Film club members get free admission to Penn Cinema the first Tuesday of the month for the film club film.  In 2016 members also attended the 40th Anniversary of the release of Taxi Driver at the Tribeca Film Festival (see photo above with the Taxi from the film).  They will go to the Toronto Film Festival in fall 2017.

The Film Club sponsors film events on campus with the aim of helping the university community think critically about film.

For more information on the club, contact Spencer Goodrich or faculty adviser Jill Craven. All Millersville University undergraduates are invited to join the club.
