The Department of Foreign Languages at Millersville University offers degree programs in French, German and Spanish: a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, a Master of Arts, and a Master of Education. Minors are available in French, German, Greek, Latin and Spanish. Many educators and employers consider the foreign language program at Millersville University to be first rate.

Millersville's excellence is based on the emphasis placed on helping students acquire proficiency in language and culture and providing them with opportunities to live and study in the countries and regions of the world where the language and culture are found.
