  • How long is the Fund the ‘Ville Process?
Once an application is submitted, please allow up to two weeks for it to be reviewed. If approved, the “quiet phase” of the campaign, when project leaders work with University Advancement to organize and create the fundraiser, lasts between 2-3 weeks. The “active phase,” is when the crowdfunding campaign is live on the Fund the ‘Ville website. If there is no specific “end date,” projects will be reviewed quarterly to determine if the project is still active.

If the campaign falls short of its funding goal, the funds raised will still be released to the project fund. In the event that a project cannot be undertaken because of the shortfall, the money raised will be retained by the department head for use on a project with similar goals.
