Abstract: We plan to use several separate two-factormixed factorial analysis of variance (ANOVA) using the GraphPad Prism 8 software to analyze our data. Our two factors we are going to analyze include Time (1 v.2 v.3)and Experimental condition (Standard v. Reacquisition). We expect to find an order effect present when doing multiple reinstatement testsand for these order effects to be attenuated by the additional day of self-administrationin the experimental group. By improving upon the existing model, we hope that future researchers will be able to more accurately study substance abuseand add to the existing literature that helps developeffective treatmentsfor those who suffer from a substance use disorder.
