PARKING PERMIT HOURS ...

Daily campus parking permits are required before 4:00 p.m. and available at the campus Police Station in Boyer House on W. Frederick St. behind the library.  The station is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


GUESTS/ VISITORS ONLY, not currently enrolled students ...  

As traditional hangtags are no longer issued, in order to apply for a day parking pass/ePermit, you need to create a visitor/ guest account through the online parking registration portal.  The link is below. After you create an account, you can request your visitor pass.  You will receive an email with an ePermit, that you will need to print and display on your vehicle while on campus.  If you do not have a printer, you can bring your email to the Parking Office and they will print one for you.


FACULTY/ STAFF ...

Are you scheduling a meeting or event on campus?   You can email the Parking Division to request an e-Permit for your event/conference/meeting. In the email include the date or dates of the meeting/event/conference, the name and the building where this will taking place.   Once the Parking Office receives your email, they will process an e-Permit and email it to you.  You can print it or forward the permit to your visitors.   

Are you inviting a guest to campus?   Please do not email the Parking office for an ePermit, but instruct your visitors to go on our website and follow the steps to apply for one using the link below.

PARKING VIOLATIONS, PENALTIES, & FINES ...

Your inability to find a legal parking space is not our responsibility.  If you do not find a parking space in the parking lot you are in, you must look elsewhere.  You are responsible to park in a legal, parking space with white lines.  Spaces with white lines are reserved for students and guests, yellow-lined spaces are reserved for faculty and staff.  Failure to park correctly could result in you receiving a parking ticket, which would be your responsibility.  Please read all information regarding parking on the Millersville campus by viewing our parking regulations on this website.

* The violations marked with an asterisk are violations of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code and may not be appealed through the University appeal process. The operator will be cited for failure to pay the violation and may request a hearing before the local District Justice.  State citations may be issued at the time of violation for any state violation.

** Persons who demonstrate that they had a permit at the time the ticket was issued for "No Permit/ Failure to display a permit" can have the ticket reduced to $20.00 for not displaying the permit in accordance with these regulations. The ticket will not be excused.

Unauthorized parking in handicapped space      $ 100.00 - $ 200.00*
Fraudulent registration  $ 50.00 + Loss of parking privileges   
No Permit/ Failure to display a permit $ 50.00 + cost of a permit
Parking in unauthorized lots or spaces  $ 25.00
Parking on grass (+ damages)     $ 25.00
Parking outside designated space   $ 25.00
Reserved parking    $ 25.00
* Against the flow of traffic  $ 25.00
* Less than 20 feet from a crosswalk  $ 25.00
* Within 30 feet of a stop sign  $ 25.00
* Parking on private property $ 25.00 

Paying For or appealing a parking ticket ...

Millersville University has moved to a new system to process the payments of parking permits and violations.  Click the link below to find more information about the appeals process and the payment portal.  

  • Cash ... Cash is currently not a valid form of payment. 

  • Credit/ Debit Cards ... Use the Millersville web portal found in the link below to pay or appeal a parking ticket. 

  • Check, Money Order, or Marauder Gold (Student ID Card) ... Parking ticket(s) can be paid in person at the main office via, check, money order, or Marauder Gold.  Please make checks or money orders payable to "Millersville University".
