Parking permits for students:

Millersville uses a parking decal (sticker).   Your parking decal must be placed on the outside, lower driver side corner of the rear window of your vehicle.   Once applied, please do not attempt to remove or the decal will become invalid.  You will receive one parking sticker permit per registration.   If you need to drive an alternate vehicle to campus you can obtain a day pass by stopping by the parking office in the Lebanon house.

PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION PROVIDED WITH YOUR PARKING PERMIT.

Commuter students:

Commuter parking passes are assigned to park in WHITE lined parking spaces all around campus.  There are plenty of white lined commuter parking spaces all around campus.   If you are attempting to park in one parking lot and it seems full, you must continue to look for available parking in other parking lots on campus.  If you are having a hard time finding available parking, try parking in one of the the underutilized parking lots on campus.   The Ann Street lot and the South SMC Lot are two parking areas that are underutilized and usually have available commuter parking.  Both these parking lots are located off of Shenks lane behind the Student Memorial Center.  These parking lots usually have available parking during peak hours for commuter students.  Another area is the parking garage on Prince Street and Cottage Avenue.

Commuters can purchase an additional permit for a secondary vehicle.  The cost is an additional $15.  To apply for a secondary permit, you must drive this secondary vehicle to campus and provide the vehicle registration at the time of purchase.  You cannot register for another student or friends vehicle, must be a family vehicle where we can verify ownership.  If you require more information, call our office at 717-871-5964 or stop by our office for more information.

Resident (dorm) students:

Resident permits are assigned to BLUE lined parking spaces around all dorms (East Village, West Village and South Suites).  Permits are sold on a first come, first served basis.  Permits for the residential areas are limited by the number of parking spaces available around the dorms.  Please do not wait to apply, if we are sold out we will recommend that you purchase an overflow/restricted permit.

New for 2019/2020 for resident students: If you have a blue residential permit, you have an additional area to park.  If blue line spaces are filled around ALL dorms, you can park in the westside parking garage (Prince St / Cottage Ave) with your blue residential permit.  This is new this year and may be impact parking for the next few years.   Ann Street lot is no longer available for blue residential permits to park.   If you require more information about blue parking or overflow parking, please contact the parking office at 717-871-5964.

Restricted/Overflow permits:

This permit is open for any resident or commuter student to purchase.   This is a reduced price permit, only allowing the vehicle to park in the West side parking garage located on Prince Street and Cottage Avenue.   This permit is not valid to park anywhere else on campus from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Reighard Hall and Shenks Hall students:

Parking is provided to you, please stop by the Reighard or Shenks hall office to inquire about a parking pass to park in the parking lot directly outside each of these buildings.  If you want to purchase a Millersville campus permit you can. Your status will show you as a commuter.  You are permitted to purchase a commuter permit to park in white lined spaces.  Blue parking permits are not sold to Reighard/Shenks hall students.

Open parking on Millersville Campus – no permit required:

You are permitted to park on Millersville Campus without displaying a parking permit after 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.   Parking permits are only required to be displayed during weekdays (Monday through Friday) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.   Non-student guests may obtain a guest parking permit during the week day hours at the parking office in Lebanon House at 237 N. George St. Millersville, PA.  During these times you must have a valid MU parking permit to park on campus.    Weekend hours are also open on our campus.  Weekend hours are from 4:00 p.m. Friday and ends at 7:00 a.m. the following Monday.
