Director's Welcome

Dr.Thyrum

Welcome to Millersville University’s Honors College. Our program is designed to provide a challenging and enriching education for talented and motivated students.

Throughout your journey at Millersville, we provide academic guidance and preparation, which will prepare you to prosper in graduate/professional schools or in the business world.

At Millersville, we strive to recruit the best and the brightest to be a part of this program. With over 7,000 undergraduate students at the University, a select few become a part of the Honors College and reap the rewards and opportunities that are presented to them. With such an intimate program, we find that students are able to form closer relationships with faculty and peers.

Here are some important points I believe you should know about our Honors College:

  • We have an average of 60 students who enroll in the Honors College per year.
  • The current total student enrollment in the Honors College is around 200 students.
  • We find that many of the students enrolled in the Honors College are looking for a program that encourages independent thought and research in a smaller academic environment. That's why we strive to keep honors classes at or under 25 students.
  • Students receive specialty housing in Reighard Hall.

We encourage students to raise their academic and professional sights beyond what they have imagined. Together we will achieve the remarkable.

I invite you to visit our campus in person, to meet our faculty and students and to learn more about this exceptional program. Please contact me with any questions.
