The Career Center provides student-centered career programs, experiences and learning opportunities to assist you in achieving your personal and professional goals.
Handshake is your Millersville University career management platform. Students and alumni use the platform to:
- schedule appointments for career coaching services
- find and apply to job and internship opportunities
- register internships for undergraduate academic credit
- sign up to attend job fairs and career events
- connect with employer partners and recruiting representatives

Use CareerShift to search, select and save job listings from all the major job boards, company web sites, newspapers, and anywhere else a job or internship is posted on the Internet. You can also set job alerts and get up-to-date contact information for employer representatives and organizations.

The Career Center partners with MU’s University College whose offices champion achievement, foster opportunities for personal, professional, and academic growth, and promote work/life balance for sustained success as a life-long learner. University College provides services, resources, and experiences to support a student’s pathway to success.

Community Engagement, Governmental and Economic Development
The Office of Community Engagement, Governmental and Economic Development is dedicated to leading the university’s business outreach and workforce development efforts on Millersville’s campus, and in Lancaster County. CGED works to strengthen our connections to community partners and regional/state agencies to support the current and future regional workforce.
