Marvelous Marauder Award
The Millersville University Marvelous Marauders program was created in 2023 in honor of the 40th anniversary of Millersville becoming a university, and proudly continues this tradition by recognizing alumni members each year who have demonstrated dedication, professional achievement, excellence, and most importantly, a commitment to staying engaged with Millersville University after graduating.
Who Is Eligible
All alumni of Millersville University with a baccalaureate degree who have recorded notable accomplishments in their chosen professions are eligible. To apply or nominate an alumnus/na, please complete the online Nomination Form.

Nomination Criteria
Please list applicable information in each of the following categories and attach 2-3 letters of recommendation in addition to the nominator's summary. Please follow the nomination format closely. Additional attachments of information other than those requested below will not be considered during the selection process.
- Nominator's summary explaining why this person should be chosen for this award and the professional and community service achievements that qualify the candidate for this award.
- Relevant employment positions held.
- Awards, honors or recognition related to their profession or community service.
- Local, state, national or international activities.
How Are Alumni Chosen
All nomination materials should be submitted via the online form. Nomination deadline is March 15. Once nominations close, applicants go through an initial screening for eligibility and a review packet is compiled for the selection committee. The selection committee meets between April 1 and May 15 to discuss and evaluate candidates. Once the finalized list of honorees is made, a formal congratulatory letter and phone call will be made May 15-May 30.
Recognition
Formal recognition took place on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 5:30pm in the Brossman Atrium of the Winter Center. Recipients took pictures with the President and had a dinner in their honor. The video of the evening is below:
