Recognized as the youngest recipient of Millersville University’s Distinguished Alumni Award, Trish Doll is a dynamic entrepreneur, humanitarian, and nationally celebrated marketing leader. As the founder of Publicity Works, an award-winning, WBE state-certified marketing agency launched in 1990, she is widely known for her trademark positive tenacity and intuitive PR strategies, earning honors from Forbes and USA Today.
Trish maintains a deep connection to her alma mater, serving on the Millersville University Alumni Association Board and appointed by the board president as Chair of the Events & Engagement Committee in 2026. A registered Millersville Executive Alumni Mentor, she has counseled over 150 students, building on an active undergraduate tenure that included four years as an on-air DJ for WIXQ.
In addition to her agency's numerous industry accolades, Trish has earned widespread acclaim for her tireless leadership and philanthropy. Her honors include: the ATHENA International Leadership Award (awarded the esteemed title of Ambassador Emerita); Governor’s Pennsylvania Best 50 Women in Business Award; Small Business Administration’s Women's Business Advocate Award; Central PA Women of Influence Award (twice); Top Forty Under 40 Award; David Rockefeller’s BCA-10 Award (honoring the nation’s top arts-supporting companies, which she won alongside fellow honorees, Disney, 3M, Macy’s, and Forbes); the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance Shining Star Award; and two American Heart Association awards; among others. A lifelong violinist, Trish brings her musical background into her professional life, earning media coverage in PRWeek for serenading clients with unique customer service. Most notably, she spearheaded her “SOS - Save Our Strings” grassroots initiative that successfully saved music in schools and received a Governor’s Proclamation for her music education advocacy.
Trish met her husband, John, during their freshman year of college. Family is her highest priority, a value she proudly lives out with their two children and grandchildren. When she isn't spending time with her family, you can find her enjoying a good movie or cooking and baking delicious Italian recipes in the kitchen.
