“I serve on the board to preserve the magic of Millersville. I truly believe Millersville is a hidden gem, and as board members, we have a responsibility to protect and uphold the qualities that make our university so special. As new Marauders step onto campus, I want to ensure they feel seen, heard, and supported by the alumni who came before them. My goal is to help preserve the sense of community and belonging that makes Millersville a place we are proud to call home.”
Bio
Julia Fallows is an English teacher at Meade High School in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, where she also serves as the head coach of the cross country team. A 2025 graduate of Millersville University with a degree in Secondary Education – English, and member of the women's track and field team, Julia began her journey in education through her work with the Bench Mark Program in Lancaster City. After completing her student teaching at Manheim Township High School and graduating from Millersville, she relocated to Baltimore, Maryland, to begin her teaching career and live with her partner (Harry Prince Millersville Class of 2024). Her time at Millersville profoundly shaped her approach to teaching, mentoring, and building meaningful connections with students. Julia joined the MUAA Board of Directors in 2026 and serves on the Events & Engagement Committee because she believes in preserving the sense of community and belonging that makes Millersville special.
