- Serve as a positive ambassador and advocate for Millersville University, being a representative and spokesperson in the community for Millersville, including talking with prospective students, meeting with other alumni, communicating wiht area legislators, and attending alumni events
- Exercise loyalty and confidentiality regarding the internal affairs of the Board/University
- Adhere to the Association's mission, goals, strategies, and objectives
- Maintain high standards of ethical conduct
- Refrain from activities that might prove embarassing to the Association and/or Millersville University
- Uphold the MUAA By-Laws and other governing documents
- As appropriate, support and/or recommend alumni affinity programs and revenue generation programs/sponsorship opportunities (i.e. insurance, credit card, etc.)
- When requested, provide counsel on Association and/or University initiatives, as well as provide input into strategic planning or research initiatives of the Association
- Assist the Director of the Office of Alumni Engagement and the staff, when called upon, to offer event or site suggestions, invite local alumni, provide transportation for visiting staff and help in any other ways needed
