Legislative Speaker Series
About the Legislative Speaker Series
Hosted by the Walker Center for Civic Responsibility and Leadership, the Legislative Speaker Series regularly welcomes current federal, state, and local legislators to Millersville University to engage the campus community in conversations about politics, policy, and government. This series encourages civic literacy and the participation of students by providing a better understanding of public policy and the legislative process. By providing a forum for the interaction of the public and key government decision makers, the legislative speaker series seeks to create a more informed public discourse focusing on the most important issues and challenges confronting central Pennsylvania and the world beyond.
