Abstract: •Focus & Purpose of Study- The purpose of this study is to examine the impact manipulatives has on a students ability to identify the missing number for numbers 1-10. • •Research Question- How does the use of Math manipulatives in a small group setting, influence a Kindergarten students ability to identify missing numbers from 1-10 • Assumptions & Limitations- The researcher assumes students are able to count to ten. While recognizing and planning around the limitation of time, students will be working in this small group intervention for a maximum of 15 minutes a day.
