Women in Mathematics & Science Conference
Welcome to the 29th Annual Glenna Hazeltine Women in Mathematics and Science Conference! The 2016 conference sponsored by Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products Co., a division of McNeil-PPC, Inc. and the Glenna Hazeltine Endowment will be held on Tuesday, April 5th, 2016. Dr. Pamela Heinselman, a research scientist with the NOAA/National Severe Storms Laboratory will be our keynote speaker for the program. The University Community and the public are invited to attend the keynote presentation which begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Student Memorial Center Multipurpose Room. Admission to the keynote presentation is free.
Admission to the remaining conference sessions and activities is limited to invited women from area junior and senior high schools. The conference provides a forum for the exchange of information on careers in mathematics and the sciences. The role model presentations will feature women professionals from the science and mathematical fields who will share their educational background, professional duties, and the professional benefits they enjoy.
