Wellness Definition: Wellness is a continuous, active process where an individual makes decisions toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

  • Social - meaningful relationships in one's life 
  • Emotional - awareness and acceptance of one's feelings 
  • Spiritual - a connection to something greater than yourself 
  • Intellectual - developing critical thinking skills and pursuing creative activities 
  • Physical - making conscious decisions to strengthen, protect, and care for one’s body 
  • Environmental - living in harmony with the earth and understanding one’s impact on the world 
  • Financial - living within one’s means and managing resources 
  • Occupational - balancing work and leisure time, and finding purpose within society 
  • Multicultural - being aware of one’s background and respectful of others culture
