Rev. Dr. Dexter Davis '77

Rev. Dr. Dexter Davis is a 1977 graduate of Millersville University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. While a student at Millersville, he was a charter member of Eta Kappa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and also was a peer mentor at Millersville. 

After graduating from Millersville, he attended West Chester University and received a master’s degree in public administration in 1986. He then went on to earn a doctorate in education from Widener University in 2000.

Davis was superintendent of Chester Upland School District, director of alternative education for the Chester Board of Education and now owns Davis and Associates and works as an educational consultant. Davis lives in Wilmington, Delaware, with his wife, Michelle. Through his support for Millersville University, Davis has contributed to The African American / Latino Alumni Scholarship and the Divine Nine & Cultural Greek Council Unity Plots on Memorial Walkway project.
