The Rita Smith-Wade-El Center for Intercultural Student Engagement is open daily from 8:00-4:30 and welcomes students to drop by to study in our study area, relax in the lounge, or seek assistance navigating campus resources. We also host special events throughout the academic semester. We look forward to seeing you!

We are continuing our celebration of Hispanic/Latine Heritage Month with food, fellowship, and music! Join us for Bustelo café, Mexican hot chocolate, Puerto Rican pastries, music, and good company. 

October 15, 2026 - 13th Annual MU PrideFest

4:30 pm - 10:30 pm - SMC

The goal of PrideFest is to create a safe space for students who are a part of the LGBT+ community. This year's event will feature a drag show, meet and greet with the drag queens, and gay bingo! Tickets available at the MU ticket office or online.

Come and learn about the veneration of ancestors during the Día de los muertos in México as we create an ofrenda - an altar/offering to celebrate loved ones who are no longer with us. Snacks provided!
