Ricardo Almodovar '16 - Spanish
Ricardo Almodovar graduated with dual majors in Spanish and International Studies. He was recently hired by Lancaster City Alliance as a neighborhood enhancement project coordinator. Ricardo is also a Community Organizer for CASA PA in Lancaster, an extension of CASA MD and CASA VA, an organization that builds power for justice in the Latinx and immigrant community through grassroots organizing and leadership development.
Alicia Hershey '16 - German & English
Alicia Hershey graduated with a BSE in German and English. She now teaches German at one of the International English Schools in Sweden, an English immersion school for grades 4-9.
Steven Rivera-Camacho '15 - Spanish
After completing a semester abroad in Burgos, Spain in 2014, Steven Rivera-Camacho participated in an anthropological field school on the island of Gozo, Malta. Following graduation in the summer of 2015 he will be an intern in the anthropological dig on the island.
Studying abroad and study a foreign language can make way for various opportunities. Steven is thankful to be in such a situation, where he can continue to grow and explore in his field of study.
Irene Cradduck '15 - Spanish
Irene Cradduck graduated December 2015 and has been accepted to the University of Central Florida in a Speech Pathology Masters Program starting Spring 2016.
Jonathan Hackett '08 - German
Jonathan Hackett '08 (on right) is pictured with US Ambassador to Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu, Mr. Walter North. Jonathan was sworn in recently to the Peace Corps in Vanuatu after completing a rigorous training program. He is now a teacher trainer and working with one of the indigenous communities on a language preservation project using lessons he learned while a student at MU, where he majored in German and minored in History.
