Family Weekend is an opportunity to connect with your student on campus, learn more about ways to get involved, and enjoy family fun! 

This year's Family Weekend is scheduled for Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th, 2026. Please save the date and join us for a weekend filled with fun!

 

 

 

Family Weekend Schedule of Events

Friday, September 18th:

Hospitality Suite- 5:00-8:00 PM

  • Check in for the weekend and enjoy popcorn and a photo booth.
  • Location: Student Memorial Center, Atrium
Cornhole Tournament Sponsored by Campus Recreation- 6:00-8:00 PM
  • Play some rounds of cornhole! Make sure to check in first to register your team.
  • Location: Student Memorial Center, Multi-Activity Court
Women’s Volleyball Game vs Sheperd University- 7:00 PM
  • Location: Pucillo Gymnasium
Music Bingo- 8:00 PM
  • Play some rounds of music bingo! Prizes will be given out to winning families.
  • Location: Student Memorial Center, Galley

Saturday, September 19th:

Coffee with the Vice President-9:00-9:45 AM

  • Enjoy coffee and a chat with our VP of Student Affairs, Dr. Mary Beth Williams
  • Location: Student Memorial Center, Atrium
Hospitality Suite-9:00 AM -2:00 PM
  • Check in for the weekend and enjoy light refreshments and a photo booth.

Walking History Tour- 10:00 AM
  • Join Dr. Richard Frerichs '64 '69m, Vice Chairman of the Council of Trustees and Professor Emeritus, on a special walking tour highlighting Millersville University's rich history.
  • Location: meet at the Student Memorial Center, Atrium
Massages- 11:00 AM-2:00 PM
  • Enjoy a complimentary massage!
  • Location: Student Memorial Center, Campus Life Lounge

Men's Rugby Tournament - 11:00 AM

  • Cheer on the MU Club Rugby team!
  • Location: Brooks Field

Football Game vs Slippery Rock University - 12:00 PM

  • Cheer on your Marauders!
  • Half-time performance by MU Dance Team
  • Location: Biemesderfer Stadium
Afternoon Activities- 1:00-5:00 PM (attend one or all)
  • Kids Crafternoon sponsored by University Housing & Conference Services 1:00-3:00
    • Join us to craft the afternoon away!
    • Location: South Village Residence Hall
  • Family Escape Room 2:00-5:00 pm 
    • Work together to solve the challenge and escape!
    • Location: Student Memorial Center, Multi-Purpose Room
  • Stuff-A-Plush sponsored by University Activities Board 3:00-5:00
    • Kids can make a stuffie to take home!
    • Event will last as long as the supplies last

Men’s Soccer Game vs East Stroudsburg University- 4:00 PM
  • Location: Pucillo Field
Cider & Choir - 4:00 PM
  • Enjoy a cider pour and delicious cider donuts while listening to VilleHarmonics and Chromatic perform live acapella.
  • Location: Biemesderfer Executive Center
Field Hockey Game vs Indiana University of PA - 6:00 PM
  • Location: Biemesderfer Stadium
