About the Dr. John M. Anderson Center for Environmental Sustainability
Thank you for your interest in reserving the Anderson Presentation Room for your event. The Dr. John M. Anderson Center for Environmental Sustainability or Anderson Presentation Room is primarily a space used for prospective students and their families to begin their campus information visit and tour.
The Anderson Presentation Room is designed for Admissions events. University departments should request the use of this space below.
The Lombardo Welcome Center's scheduled operating hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If your event is outside of the building’s scheduled operating hours, please make arrangements with MU Police for the lobby doors and Welcome Center doors to be opened.
The Presentation Room will be set in theatre style with 70 chairs facing the projector screen. For an alternate set up, please provide your sketch at least 10 business days prior to the event.
If your room setup (including catering) requires more than 70 chairs, 12-2’x6’ or 8-2’x’5’ tables, please submit a moving request form.
Decorations are welcome however, please refrain from open flames or candles and using masking or duct tape, glitter, confetti or silly string. Please do not attach promotional and/or other materials to walls, windows, doors or furnishings. Please dispose of any decorations at the conclusion of your event.
Parking is available in the McComsey Parking Lot located at 45 James St. Parking permits are required and can be obtained by contacting MU Police Parking Division.
All trash (including disposable utensils, plates, cups, food residue, and excess handouts/publications) must be properly disposed of in the receptacle provided before leaving the Anderson Presentation Room.
A podium, computer, two projects and a mic are standard in the Anderson Presentation Room. For additional technology needs, please contact Tech Ops directly.
Catering & Food
All catering, including setup and cleanup for events in the Anderson Presentation Room must be organized through Millersville University Catering at (717) 871-5143 or email@example.com.
