FOOTBALL - WOMEN'S LACROSSE - WOMEN'S SWIMMING- CHEER

Heather Wolfe joined the Millersville University faculty in February 2019. She is the primary contact athletic trainer for Marauder football, women's lacrosse, women's track and feild, and cheerleading.

Heather earned her bachelor’s of science in Athletic Training from Penn State University in 2014 and her master’s of science in Athletic Training from the University of Kentucky in 2016. While at the University of Kentucky, Wolfe completed her Master's thesis project “Volleyball Overhead Swing Volume and Injury Frequency” that was presented at the 2015 National Athletic Trainers' Association Symposium as well as at the 2016 International Congress of Shoulder and Elbow Therapists. The full manuscript was published in the February 2019 edition of the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy. 

Prior to her arrival at Millersville, Heather was employed as the Director of Sports Medicine and Associate Athletic Trainer at Lincoln University. In this role she provided care to the Lincoln Univeristy Lions' football, men's and women's basketball, women's soccer, cross country, track and feild, baseball and softball teams. From 2014-2016 she was a Graduate Assistant Outreach Athletic Trainer at the University of Kentucky, working with the University's men's club ice hockey club team as well as assisting with coverage of Lafayette High School athletics. Her clinical experience at the University of Kentucky led her to present a case study "Non-Contact Fibular Fracture of a Male Adolescent Track Athlete" at the 2016 National Athletic Trainers’ Association Convention.


Heather is from Oxford, PA and currently resides in Strasburg, PA.
