Undergraduate Programs in history
Most students who earn a degree in History do not become professional historians. Instead, they use their historian’s skills to become leaders in today’s society, pursuing entry into a wide variety of careers. Our recent graduates have gone on to work in education, history, law, archaeology, museum studies, archives, libraries, and business, among other fields.
Our majors learn,
- How to ask good questions and investigate effectively to find real answers
- How to analyze and interpret complex subjects
- How to write and communicate clearly
- How to interact in a global world that requires creative and critical thinking
Our graduates understand the past but also think critically and imaginatively about the worlds of today and tomorrow.
