Pre-Conference Workshop at the PSMLA PACIE Fall Conference
Penn Stater Conference Center, State College, PA
Millersville University will not host an in-service conference on campus this fall. In its place, we are sponsoring the pre-conference workshop at the PSMLA PACIE Fall Conference in State College, which takes place on Thursday, October 24.
The pre-conference workshop, Using High-Leverage Practices to Enact the Work of Language Teaching, is facilitated by Eileen W. Glisan and Richard Donato. This six-hour workshop will lead participants in understanding more about the work of teaching by exploring the concept of practice-based teaching and a set of foreign language practices that are based on second language acquisition theory, research on student learning, and classroom practice.
This year's PSMLA PACIE Fall Conference celebrates the 100th anniversary of PSMLA and the 50th anniversary of PACIE. More than 80 sessions will be offered on Friday and Saturday following the pre-conference workshop. For more information, visit PSMLA PACIE Fall Conference 2019.
The In-Service Conference has been hosted by MU for over forty years. Click Here for information about past conferences.
