Letter from the VPSA

Dear Millersville Students and Families, 

Welcome to Millersville University! It is truly an honor to serve as your Vice President for Student Affairs, and I am grateful to be part of a university so deeply committed to helping every student learn, grow, and thrive. I genuinely believe in the transformative power of a college experience grounded in belonging, connection, and opportunity. Every student deserves to feel seen, valued, supported, and challenged to become the very best version of themselves, and my greatest passion is helping students navigate both the exciting moments and the inevitable challenges that come with college life. 

College is so much more than earning a degree; it is a time of discovery—discovering new interests, building meaningful relationships, overcoming challenges, and developing the confidence and skills that will shape your future. Many of the lessons that will stay with you for a lifetime will happen outside the classroom, so I encourage every student to get involved, ask questions, seek support, and embrace the opportunities that await you. Challenge yourself to grow and seek out mentors along the way. Some of your most meaningful memories—and lifelong friendships—will be created through the experiences you choose to embrace. 

You will have successes to celebrate and obstacles to overcome, but you will never do it alone at Millersville. The Division of Student Affairs is here to support you throughout every step of that journey - academically, professionally, and personally. We celebrate the unique experiences and perspectives that strengthen our community and enrich everyone’s learning experience. We are excited to walk alongside you during this remarkable journey and cannot wait to see all that you will accomplish.
