The Joseph and Marianne Nolt Family Scholarship Fund supports a rising junior in Education for up to two years as they complete their thesis.
The scholarship is awarded as tuition for up to 6 credits of thesis courses including thesis-related independent study courses. In addition to the scholarship, grantees also receive $750 to support materials, supplies, and other costs related to their thesis research including travel to present at professional conferences.
Importantly, reesearch projects are to be of an applied and scholarly nature, with an intended outcome of original, practical contribution to the field of education.
