Millersville University Family Egg Hunt

Overview

The Office of Alumni Engagement invites alumni, friends, and their families to join us on campus for the Millersville University Family Egg Hunt, a fun, springtime event designed especially for young children and their caregivers.

This family-friendly morning will feature two age-appropriate egg hunts to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:

• Ages 0–3 (parent-assisted)

• Ages 4–7 (structured hunt)

In addition to the egg hunts, families can enjoy:

• Photos with Skully, Millersville University’s mascot

• Inflatable ring toss games and other interactive activities

The event will be held during the morning to accommodate young children’s schedules. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited to 30 children per age group to maintain a positive experience for all participants. A $5 per family registration fee helps support event supplies and activities.

The Millersville University Family Egg Hunt is a seasonal, family-focused campus event and is open to alumni and friends. We look forward to welcoming families back to campus for a joyful morning of connection, play, and Millersville spirit.

Schedule (2027):

9:30am - Check-in and activities open for 10am Egg Hunt

10:00am - Egg Hunt Ages 0-3 (parent-assisted)

10:30am - Egg Hunt Ages 4-7 (structured hunt)

11:00am - Event Concludes

Volunteer

Volunteer opportunities for this event are available both before and during the event and include a variety of roles to match different interests and abilities.

Before the Event:

Help us by filling and organizing plastic eggs with candy and prizes, assist in assembling children's tote bags and actvity materials, and help us prepare event supplies and decorations.

Event Day:

Help us set up and decorate event spaces, welcome families and assist with participant check-in, help guide families to age-appropriate hunt areas, assist with activiteis, support vendors and community partners, help distribute event materials and prizes, and assist with event cleanup.

Volunteers may serve at a stationary welcome location or move throught the gathering areas to greet students and families.  A friendly smile and willingness to say hello are the most important qualifications!  Questions?  Reach out to the Alumni Office at alumni@millersville.edu or 717-871-7551 for details.
