Salute to Service: Veterans Appreciation Lunch
Join us as we honor and celebrate those who have served! Millersville University’s Salute to Service: Veterans Appreciation Lunch is a heartfelt tribute to the brave individuals who have served or are currently serving our country. A collaboration between Millersville’s Veterans & Military Resource Center and Alumni Engagement, this special event brings together members of our campus community to show appreciation for the sacrifices, service, and dedication of our military students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

- Time: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- Location: Ford Atrium, McComsey Hall, Millersville University
- Catered By: Mission BBQ – enjoy a delicious meal on us as a token of our gratitude!
- Menu:
- Meats-Sliced Brisket, Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken
- Sides-Maggie's Mac-N-Cheese, Baked Beans w/Brisket, Green Beans & Bacon, Slider Rolls & Cornbread
- Sauces-Memphis Belle, Smoky Mountain, Tupelo Honey Heat, KC Classic, Texas Twang, and Bay-B-Que
- Drinks-Bottled Water, Canned Sodas, Summertime Lemonade, Sweet Tea
- Desserts-Cookie Tray
Who Can Attend?
This event is free and open to all members of the Millersville community who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, including Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve members. This includes students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Support the Veterans Resource Center
While the lunch is free, we welcome gifts to support the work being done at the Veterans Resource Center, which provides resources, guidance, and a sense of community for our veterans on campus.
Space is limited. Be sure to RSVP so we have a spot saved for you. Your response helps us make this event memorable for everyone.
