Development Office
Welcome to the Development Office!
Located in the Duncan Alumni House, the Development Office, part of the Advancement Office, plays a vital role in advancing the mission and long term vision of the university and supporting its EPPIIC values. Our primary objectives are to foster strong relationships with alumni, donors, and partners, and to secure philanthropic support that enhances academic programs, student opportunities, and campus development. Through strategic fundraising, stewardship, and engagement efforts, we help ensure the university's continued growth, innovation, and impact.
Our staff are available and on campus Monday through Friday, from 8:00am until 4:00pm during the summer months, and until 4:30pm during the spring and fall semesters. Our offices are closed on all major US holidays.
On Campus Services
The Development Office strengthens Millersville's philanthropic efforts by connecting donors with meaningful opportunities to give, whether through scholarships and endowments, research initiatives, or capital projects. By aligning donor interests with institutional priorities, the development office fosters a culture of giving that advances the university's mission and broadens its impact both on campus and beyond. Through strategic fundraising, donor stewardship, and alumni engagement, the development office helps generate funding that enhances academic departments, student services, and administrative units across campus. A few of the resources our office provides include:
-
Student Resources
The Development Office actively supports Millersville University student fundraising efforts by providing resources, guidance, and a platform that helps students organizations successfully achieve their philanthropic goals. Our goal is to connect students with alumni networks and the broader community, creating meaningful opportunities for outreach and support. By promoting events and fundraisers, crowdfunding initiatives, and partnership opportunities, Millersville encourages collaboration between students and donors who are invested in the university's mission. This coordinated approach not only empowers student groups to fund projects, programs, and travel experiences, but also strengthens long-term relationships with alumni and community members who play a vital role in sustaining and enriching campus life. Development's resources for students include:

Data Services
Advancement Information Services plays a vital role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for students, alumni, and donors by managing a comprehensive and secure database. Advancement Information Services compiles and distributes statistical, demographic, and financial reports to authorized Millersville University departments and individuals, ensuring informed decision-making across the university. Additionally, it supports campus-wide information needed by providing tailored lists, labels, and reports to assist with outreach, fundraising, and engagement efforts. Through these services, the Development Office ensures data integrity while enhancing communication and collaboration throughout the institution.
