The Reverend Lewis Merwin Hobbs Medallion
Congratulations on achieving Summa Cum Laude!
The Reverend Lewis Merwin Hobbs Medallion/Dr. Dominick '53 and Mrs. Helen DiNunzio award is awarded to seniors who are graduating summa cum laude and the medallion should be worn at commencement. It was established in 2009 by the DiNunzio’s in memory of Reverend Lewis Merwin Hobbs, one of the founders of the institution that became Millersville University. Dr. DiNunzio was a member of the 1953 graduating class and served on the Millersville University alumni Association Board in various capacities. Mrs. DiNunzio is a descendant of Rev. Hobbs and a friend of the university.
An important part of the University award process is acknowledging and thanking our donors. In order to receive the award, you are required to write a personal thank you note. Samples of thank you notes can be obtained by emailing Michele.Stoner@millersville.edu.
You can deliver your final thank you note to the Development Office in the Duncan Alumni House on campus or email it to giving@millersville.edu. Thank you!
