Courageous Conversations
Every semester the Intercultural Center hosts Courageous Conversations. Each semester we choose a different topic to surround the conversations. The goal of these meetings is to foster a sense of community while discussing topics that are not often discusses, and may not be easy to talk about. We hope to build an inclusive dialogue that students will feel encouraged to take part in.
These events are sponsored by the School of Social Work's Learning Institute, the Dr. Rita Smith Wade-El Intercultural Center, the Center for Student Engagement, and University Housing and Conference Services.
This semester, our topic of discussion is "exploring barriers to becoming a better ally." We hope to see you there!
