Amy Arms, MSN, FNP-BC | Nursing
Amy Arms, MSN, FNP-BC, began her nursing career as an LPN serving in the US Army in various locations, for six years. After returning to Lancaster Amy earned her RN diploma in 2006 and practiced as a RN for 10 years. Later went on to earn a BSN from Eastern Mennonite University in 2012. After working in various fields of nursing including adjunct faculty Amy went on to earn an MSN and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Widener University in 2019, becoming board certified through American Association of Nurse Practitioners, AANP. Amy practiced at Wellspan Internal Medicine in Ephrata for six years before joining Wellspan Ephrata Family Practice in 2025, where she is currently still practicing. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and children and relaxing at their home in Delaware.
Emily Davis, Ph.D. | Educational Foundations
Emily L. Davis, Ph.D., is a proud fifth-generation educator dedicated to enhancing teacher effectiveness and student outcomes through high-quality induction and coaching programs. She began her career as a middle and high school humanities teacher before earning her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia. Dr. Davis has held teaching, research, and leadership roles that bridge research and practice at Stanford University, the University of Pennsylvania, New Teacher Center, and the Santa Cruz/Silicon Valley New Teacher Project. As the founder of Teacher Development Network LLC, she consults globally to help institutions begin and improve their instructional coaching programs.
Dr. Davis is also a Fulbright Specialist, ASCD and Phi Delta Kappan Emerging Leader, and the author of two books: Making Mentoring Work and Tech Request. After serving as an adjunct professor at Millersville University for the past seven years, she is excited to join the faculty full-time.
Laura petravage, dma | music
Dr. Laura M. Petravage is an Assistant Professor of Music Education for the Tell School of Music at Millersville University and the Coordinator for their Music Education Program. She was previously the Music Program Supervisor for the Carlisle Area School District, where she taught secondary general music and choir. Dr. Petravage previously taught for the Central Dauphin (PA) and Derry Township (PA) School Districts, and she has served as adjunct faculty for Messiah University (PA), George Mason University (VA), and American University (DC).
Dr. Petravage completed her doctorate in choral conducting at George Mason University, and has degrees from the Eastman School of Music (MM Choral Conducting), American University (BA Music and French), and Millersville University (BSE Music Education). She is a Kodály certified instructor through Texas State University and she has a Supervisory Certificate for PK-12 Music through Eastern University. Dr. Petravage has presented at state, regional, and national conventions for PMEA, NAfME, VMEA, and OAKE, with a special emphasis on middle school general music and choral literacy and rehearsal technique.
Henry Zink, m.ed, ph.d | Psychology
Henry Zink earned a Ph.D. in school psychology and M.Ed. in human development from Lehigh University as well as a B.S. and B.A. from Fordham University. He is a certified school psychologist who completed his doctoral internship at the Abington School District. Committed to the field of school psychology, Dr. Zink serves as an editorial board member for School Psychology Review and as a member of the National Association of School Psychologists and the Association of School Psychologists of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Zink maintains a rigorous research agenda including journal publications and national and international conference presentations. His current research projects include work concerning learning disability eligibility and education policy. He thoroughly enjoys teaching and mentoring students and advocating for improved school psychology practice in Pennsylvania and beyond.
