Become the Leader You Were Meant to Be — With Army ROTC at Millersville

The Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) at Millersville University has been shaping future Army Officers since 1974. As an extension of the Dickinson College Army ROTC program, Millersville is home to the Bravo Company “Marauders” within the Blue Mountain Battalion. This multi-campus battalion brings together Cadets from five colleges and universities across Central Pennsylvania, including the host school Dickinson College, extension site Millersville University, and crosstown affiliates Penn State Harrisburg, Gettysburg College, and Messiah University.

This diverse and collaborative training environment fosters leadership growth by bringing Cadets together from a wide range of academic and personal backgrounds. At Millersville, ROTC is more than a course—it’s a transformative leadership journey. Cadets build confidence, discipline, and the ability to lead in both military and civilian careers. Through hands-on training, academic integration, and strong mentorship, students develop the skills and mindset needed to serve their communities and their country with honor.

Any student can take ROTC basic courses without committing to a military career.  Those who decide to pursue the full program and meet all requirements will be commissioned as Second Lieutenants in the U.S. Army, Army National Guard, or Army Reserve upon graduation.

If you're ready to challenge yourself, grow as a leader, and serve with purpose, Army ROTC at Millersville is your path forward. Be all you can be!
