Alternative Pattern and Textile Design

Abstract: An aspiring pattern designer creating a collection of goods for the home and person using hand-drawn illustrations of subjects that are more obscure and whimsical in nature. These designs will be created using pen on paper illustrations from a personal sy accompanied by the addition of technologies like a laser cutter and water jet to explore deeper into the possibilities of design within a living space. Products that are being explored are wallpapers, fashion fabrics, pillows, glassware, and more, all applying different techniques and technologies to create a one-of-a-kind collection.
