Abstract: Description of the Activity:I am seeking funds to sponsor a guest speaker in three of myclasses in the fall of 2021. I am teaching two sections of a freshman seminar--UNIV 103:Success in Business–in which students learn about various career options related tomajors inbusiness. I am also teaching an introductory management course–Principles of Management–and one of the course's objectives is to introduce students to Human Resource Management. Myfirst preference would be to invite the guest speaker for anin-person session; however, a virtualsession (Zoom) will be used as a backup plan if the speaker cannot speak with the class in persondue to theongoing pandemic.
