Abstract: By utilization of RT-qPCR, proinflammatory factors were quantified to characterize the molecular mechanisms by which mast cells (MCs) mitigate secondary organ damage. These factors consisted of protein-coding genes that form select proteases, cytokines, and chemokines, while other factors were purely transcriptional.
