Priority Registration for Veterans, Military-Affiliated Students, and ROTC Cadets

Millersville University grants Course Scheduling Priority—allowing eligible students to register for classes two days before the standard registration period begins—to those receiving VA Education Benefits, contracted ROTC cadets, and certain military-affiliated students.

Who Is Eligible?

• Students receiving VA Education Benefits (current or past):
  The VMRC Team will notify you by email when you become eligible. Once notified, contact your academic advisor to complete registration.

• Veterans not currently using VA Benefits:
  You may still qualify. Contact the VMRC Team to self-identify. A copy of your DD-214 may be required. Once verified, contact your academic advisor.

• Contracted Army ROTC Cadets:
  Cadets with a signed ROTC contract (scholarship or non-scholarship) are eligible. The ROTC program will verify your status. Once confirmed, contact your academic advisor.

• Pennsylvania National Guard Members using the Educational Assistance Program (EAP):
  Guard members using PA EAP are eligible. Contact the School Certifying Official to confirm your status, then work with your academic advisor to register.

Please Note:
Dependents and spouses using VA Education Benefits are not eligible for course scheduling priority under this policy.

Early REGISTRATION POLICY

The Military Leave of Absence is specifically for students who are being deployed overseas or to assist in a national catastrophe. This does not include students enlisting in the military or going to basic training.

Students who are called to active duty please follow the directions for Military Leave located here.

Students who expect to return to class within the current semester to complete their coursework, or who are called to duty after completing a significant part of the course requirements, should contact their faculty regarding missed work. Students who cannot complete the current semester will be granted a leave of absence for military duty and will be allowed to return for the next semester without penalty.
