    Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Program:
    CHEP collaboration with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

    Talk Saves Lives:
    Tuesday Feb. 20th
    4-5:30pm SMC 24
    Description: Talk Saves Lives is AFSP's education program that provides participants with a clear understanding of this leading cause of death, including the most up to date research on suicide prevention, and what they can do in their communities to save lives. Participants will learn common risk factors and warning signs associated with suicide, and how to keep themselves and others safe.

  • Narcan Training

    CHEP is collaborating with Lancaster Joining Forces to provide free Narcan Training

    Tuesday February 27th 12:15-1:15 SMC 118
    Monday March 4th 9am-10am
    SMC 24
    Description: Come learn what Narcan is, how to use it and leave with a free Narcan kit.
    Blueprints Recovery will be coming to campus to host the training open to all students, faculty and staff. You will learn about opioid abuse and trends, and understand/debunk the negative stigma surrounding Narcan accessibility. You will leave the training prepared to handle an opioid overdose emergency.
