For New Graduate Assistants
Required TrainingsPlease watch for an email from Vector LMS, with links to required trainings. Faculty, staff and student employees of Millersville University are required to complete several online compliance training programs upon hire, including Title IX training, topics on harrassment, discrimination, and protecting minors.

Graduate Assistantship Opportunities
A few remaining Graduate Assistantship position opportunities for Fall 2025 are still available for application. Opportunities for GA positions starting in Spring 2026 will be posted by October.
ELIGIBILITY: You must be (and remain) enrolled at Millersville as an active student in a master's or doctoral degree program or a joint master's degree/certification program or similar. Graduate students seeking certification only are ineligible for assistantships.
You must enroll for a minimum of 6 credits per fall and spring semesters for a full-time graduate assistantship; part-time assistantships require a minimum of 3 credits enrollment per fall and spring semesters.

The majority of assistantships are full-time positions, and there are a few options for part-time assistantships. Most assistantships require on-campus work.

Information for International Candidates
Graduate Assistants who are on an F-1 visa are only permitted to work a maximum of 20 hours per week during academic sessions (spring and fall semesters); there may be opportunity to work during school breaks over 20 hours a week, which would be compensated at an hourly rate.
