Millersville University celebrated the 2022 December commencement on Sunday, December 11 at 2 p.m.
The ceremony included the conferral of both undergraduate and graduate degrees and was held in Pucillo Gymnasium, located at 125 Pucillo Drive in Millersville. Doors opened one hour prior to the ceremony for graduates and guests.

Alternate Viewing Options
An on-campus site to view the livestream of the ceremony will be available at the Winter Center for Visual and Performing Arts at 60 W. Cottage Avenue. No tickets are necessary.
Millersville University is pleased to announce the 2022 December commencement ceremony scheduled to be held on Sunday, December 11 beginning at 2 p.m.
The ceremony will include the conferral of both undergraduate and graduate degrees and will be held in Pucillo Gymnasium, located at 125 Pucillo Drive in Millersville. Doors will open one hour prior to the ceremony for graduates and guests. Guest tickets are required to attend the in-person ceremony. Each graduate will be allotted four guest tickets.
All graduates will check in at the Anttonen Lobby of Pucillo Gymnasium, accessed via the west side of the building, using the south entrance. Guests will enter the venue using the north entrance on the west side of the building.
Undergrads will proceed directly to your seat in the gymnasium, guided by commencement marshals. Undergraduates will be seated by college.
Master’s and Doctoral candidates will be directed on where to line up to process into the gymnasium.
Graduates will be individually recognized as they walk across the stage, receive a diploma cover and are professionally photographed. All graduates will process from the gymnasium at the conclusion of the ceremony. Anticipated length of the ceremony is 2 hours, depending on the number of graduates participating.
With a focus on sustainability, in lieu of a paper commencement program, a QR code will be provided to graduates and guests to access a digital version of the December 2022 Commencement program. Please ensure that you bring a device such as a cellphone or tablet that will enable you to scan the QR code and view the program.

Attire and Personal Items
Graduates should plan to arrive at check-in dressed in regalia and ready to participate in the ceremony.
Graduates who are participating in the ceremony are required to wear the appropriate regalia which is available for purchase from the University Bookstore. Orders can be placed now and either shipped to you or will be available for pickup beginning Nov. 7, 2022.
Bachelor's Cap and Gown packages include a black gown, cap, academic hood, and tassel. The total price for this package including tax is $68.90. If students are expecting honor cords for University Latin Honors, Department Honors, or University Honors College, they will be automatically included in their order for no extra fee.
Master's Cap and Gown packages include a black master's gown, cap, academic hood, and tassel. The total price for this package including tax is $74.20.
Doctoral Cap and Gown packages include a black doctoral gown, velvet tam, academic hood, and gold tassel. The total price for this package including tax is $334.96.

Monday – Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Footwear: Please be advised that you will be walking and standing as well as climbing stairs, so it is recommended that you wear flats or a low wedge heel.
Guest Ticket Guidelines
Tickets are required to attend the ceremony for all guests over the age of three.
- Graduates will be allotted four tickets and are responsible for providing tickets to their guests.
- Graduates can pick up tickets at the MU Ticket Office beginning Monday, November 28. Tickets will be distributed until Saturday, December 10, 2022. No tickets will be available on the day of commencement.
- Tickets will need to be picked up in person at the MU Ticket Office, located in the SMC between the Student Affairs office and the Galley Food Court. No tickets will be mailed or emailed.
- If graduates need to have someone pick up tickets on their behalf, please email firstname.lastname@example.org from your MU email address and provide your name and MU# along with the name and email address of the person that you are authorizing to pick up your tickets.
- Please note – guest tickets cannot be duplicated as each ticket has a unique code that will be scanned at the entrance to the gymnasium. For this reason, lost tickets cannot be replaced.

Pucillo Gymnasium doors will open one hour prior to the ceremony.
An on-campus location to view the livestream of the ceremony will be available at the Winter Center for Visual and Performing Arts at 60 W. Cottage Avenue. Ample parking is available adjacent to the venue. No guest tickets are necessary.
Handicap parking is available at Pucillo Gymnasium.
