Guest Ticket Information
Updated as of January 14, 2026Tickets are required for guests to attend an in-person ceremony at Pucillo Gymnasium.
All guest over the age of three years old wanting to enter Pucillo Gymnasium will need to present a ticket.
Each graduate may be allotted up to four (4) guest tickets. After all students register for commencement, if additional tickets are possible we will notify students by email between 5/4/2026 and 5/8/2026.
Guest tickets should not be duplicated as each ticket has a unique code on them that will be scanned at the door. For this reason, lost tickets cannot be replaced.
After you apply for graduation, and your graduation application is approved by the Registrar’s Office, the Office of the Provost will email you with instructions to register for commencement. Completing that registration is what triggers your ticket allocation. Those emails are expected to begin going out in mid‑to‑late March.

CEREMONY LOGISTICS - May 9, 2026
Updated as of Jan. 15, 2026All GRADUATES will report to the Anttonen Lobby of Pucillo Gymnasium.
All GUESTS will enter the venue using the north entrance on the west side of the building.
Students who are eligible to graduate will receive an email from the Office of the Provost (officeoftheprovost@millersville.edu) that includes commencement details. The emails will start being sent before or after Spring Recess 2026.
DOCTORAL AND MASTER'S CANDIDATES: Upon arrival, candidates will be directed where to line up to process.
Doctoral and Master's graduates will be hooded by their graduate coordinator and individually recognized as they walk across the stage, receive a diploma cover and are professionally photographed.
UNDERGRADUATES will report to check in for the ceremony and then proceed directly to your seat, guided by commencement marshals. Undergraduates will be seated by college.
Undergraduates will be individually recognized as they walk across the stage, receive a diploma cover and are professionally photographed.
ALL graduates will walk in a recessional at the conclusion of the ceremony.

With a focus on sustainability, in lieu of a paper commencement program, a QR code will be provided to graduates and guests to access a digital version of the Commencement program. Please ensure that you bring a device such as a cellphone or tablet that will enable you to scan the QR code and view the program. -

Graduates who are participating in the ceremony are required to wear the appropriate regalia which is available for purchase from the University Store.

PERSONAL ATTIRE ---
Graduates should plan to arrive at check-in dressed in regalia (cap & gown) and ready to participate in the ceremony.
Graduates should use their own discretion as to what apparel is worn under the gown. Reminder, you will be professionally photographed which is a lasting image of this special day for you, your family and friends.
Footwear: Please be advised that you will be walking and standing as well as climbing stairs, so it is recommended that you wear flats or a low wedge heel.
Graduates are encouraged to limit the number of personal items brought in to the ceremony with you. The University is not responsible for lost or stolen items left behind.

Parking & Accessibility Information
Updated as of Dec. 4, 2025.General parking will be available for all ceremony attendees in all on-campus parking lots.
The Pucillo Gymnasium & adjacent parking lots are exclusively reserved for guests with special needs, mobility issues, and/or with a state issued handicap placard. Guests with limited mobility are also able to be dropped off at the guest entrance as directed by University Police.
All on campus parking is open and does not require a parking tag for the event.
STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARK IN CREEK DRIVE LOT OR TO WALK TO CEREMONY SITE.
