  • Degree earned
  • Major
  • Latin Honors as earned (undergraduate only)

Your MU Diploma does not include

  • Concentration
  • Minor
  • Departmental honors
  • Honors college

Master's degree candidates who attend commencement receive a diploma cover at the ceremony

Diplomas are mailed after completion of all degree requirements has been verified (approximately two to three weeks.) A diploma cover can be mailed with the diploma to those who do not attend commencement. Please request this in writing to the Graduate Studies Office, PO Box 1002, Millersville, PA 17551. Include $3.00 for postage.

Undergraduate degree candidates who attend commencement are presented with a diploma cover at the ceremony

You can request a diploma cover (include $3.00 for postage) to be mailed to you with your diploma if you don't plan to attend the ceremony. Diplomas are mailed after verification of the completion of all degree requirements (please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery).

Damaged Mailed Diploma

If your diploma is damaged by the USPS carrier, take it to your local post office in the original mailer & request payment ($25.00 postal money order payable to MU) for a replacement diploma. If your local postmaster is not willing to cover replacement costs, or the damage was caused by other factors -place damaged diploma in regular business size envelope and return it to the Registrar's Office with a request for a replacement.

Can't find your diploma? Your diploma was damaged by water, fire, etc.? Please note - a replacement diploma will not be a duplicate of the original; current State System & University officers' signatures appear on a replacement diploma.

You can order a replacement diploma by downloading and mailing (or drop off) the following form to the Registrar's Office.
