Security Clearances
For Field Placement Classes
Millersville University requires security clearances to be on file with The Placement Office by the deadline dates outlined below to participate in field experiences.
- Scroll down for more information - follow the instructions carefully!
- Security Clearances must meet the requirements outlined and be valid (do not expire) for the entire semester during which there is a field experience.
- Students may be dropped from any courses requiring clearances if clearance packet is incomplete or invalid.
Clearance deadlines
There are two 'Clearance Deadlines' tables below - follow the table for your situation.
- Professional Block 2 and PDS Students: Follow the 'Clearance Deadlines - Student Teachers' table if your Professional Block 2/PDS semester will be immediately followed by student teaching.
- Students preparing for student teaching: Follow the 'Clearance Deadlines - Student Teachers' table.
